Tired of the same old routine? Craving a dose of adventure that calms your soul?
Whether bringing your yoga practice to the water, or bringing friends to connect and level up your fitness routine, paddle boarding unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that's fun and accessible for all fitness levels.
Every SUP session begins with an overview of paddle basics, including how to kneel, stand, stroke technique, turning, and what to do if you end up overboard. Immediately following, we will move to a guided expedition on the water for a fun stand up paddle board experience to get centered on the water. No paddle experience necessary, all levels welcome. Participants MUST be able to swim!
Paddle out and anchor down for a combination of flowing movements and steady postures designed to awaken your core muscles, establish trust, train balance, strengthen the body and calm the mind. A solid SUP Yoga practice includes a variety of asanas slightly modified for added stability on your deck. Built into each class is time for play to explore shapes and postures before winding down with meditative relaxation on the water and paddling back to shore. Remember, no yoga or paddle experience necessary.
